Supposedly in Bakers Lane, an extension of Drapers or Drapery Row between Market Street and Wellington Street. It may well have been close
to the rear entrance to Ennion's yard. The 1841 census identifies several publicans in the Rookery, but sadly does not name the premises. The 1851 census for that area appears to be missing. No Bakers Arms appears in the Press or the 1881 census. |
