The red areas seem to be either communal yards or arches through to the lanes.
The whereabouts
of The Eagle is at present a surmise,
and the Green Dragon, next to the Bushel became a shop many years before this map.
Towards the Wellington Street end of Drapery Row, in a side lane. The area had many other beer houses and inns, so many that there was a
licenced house in St Mary's ward for every 94 of the population. The licence was therefore withdrawn and it was sold unlicensed in 1913
